LATEST UPDATES (MONKEY BUSINESS):

-We will not be on the air on November 24th due
to the Thanksgiving Weekend. We will be back
on the air December 1st and December 8th to
close out Season #4 with our last 2 episodes.

-Due to having way too many things to do, I will
be unable to update this website until further
notice. I apologize for any trouble this
causes. If you really want to know what is up
and have that much concern, please e-mail me at:
twilighthotel@jaydemail.com
This means that this page and the playlist
page will not be updated until I can get some
things done and free up some time. Sorry again.
But we are still doing the show and that is
going great :) There will be a tiny update here
and there, I may try to catch up, but otherwise
I have got commitments that are dire and need
my immediate attention.

-The show on November 17th went great. Need I
say more?

-Ratt is coming to The Asylum which is located
at 121 Center Street in Portland, Maine. Tickets
will be $15 and can be obtained either the night
of the show at the Asylum or at a local Bull
Moose Music. If you are in the area, check them
out!!!! The show takes place: Tuesday, November
27th and you can find out more about Ratt and
their current status at: www.therattpack.com

-Change of plans. The Artist of the Week for
November 17th is now Ratt. Britny Fox has been
rescheduled (sorry, guys). Ratt was the very
first Artist of the Week in Episode 1 and
we figured we may as well do them again. Don't
worry, we will get to Britny Fox. We are also
playing Ratt to promote a concert in the area.
We won't be on the air to promote it November
24th so we had to schedule the heavy Ratt
promotion for the 17th instead so we could try
to get people to go to the show. BTW, this is
Blotzer's and DeMartini's Ratt (with Jizzy Pearl
singing) not Pearcy's lineup he is also touring
with.

-We are now at 270 requests for the history of
the show, closing in on 300.

-November 10th was a great way to celebrate our
40th episode of Monkey Business. Even though
many people weren't familiar with Dangerous Toys,
we gave them a large dose of the Toys and
probably converted a few new fans as they were
the Artist of the Week this week on the show.
Will and Frankie were fabulous on the mic and
there were a lot of great songs played. We
had a call from a old loyal listener who we had
not heard from in a long time, who is nicknamed
"Captain Cool." "Cool" listened faithfully ever
since the first half of Season 1 and called in
virtually every week right up through the first
part of Season #3 but we stopped hearing from
him near the end of Season 3 and didn't hear
anything from him until November 10th. It's
great to have one of our favorite listeners
back and congratulations on the newborn baby
and the new house. And thanks Captain Cool
(aka John) for supporting the show and
listening. Without our listeners, we would be
nothing, you are what keeps us coming back
every week :) (awwwwwwww, LOL). Awesome show,
lots of calls and some good times, if you
ever get the chance to do radio, don't pass it
up. A lot of dj's take this job for granted
and don't know how lucky they are. Knowing that
I am helping out bands by promoting them and
that people wait all week to listen to us and
call in makes me feel incredible, it makes me
feel like I am making a difference and
contribution.

-There will be no show on November 24th,
due to the Thanksgiving Weekend, we shall be
with our family. Season 4 will be wrapping up on
either December 8th or 15th, I am still trying to
find the correct date. I think it is the 8th but
I am not 100% sure yet. There will be a short
layoff until Season 5 kicks in during mid-late
January of 2002.

-November 3rd wasn't a particularly good
show, we were a bit off on the mic. However,
the fans apparently didn't mind as the calls
were coming in. We played an hour of great
music from Firehouse, covering something
from each album, not to mention all the hits.
The show could have been better, at least
DJ wise but, as usual, the music itself
was top-notch. We even played some music
and promoted a show for an artist named
Jen Shankman, who was playing in the area.

-We are working on possibly securing a phone
interview with members of New Jersey's own,
Atello. They've got a great melodic rock sound
and we have done a web interview with them
in the past (which I hope to get online
again soon). Will has been chatting with the
bass player, Ralph Heiss. Monkey Business has
played tracks from their first cd, "The Big
Payoff" many times in the past, great stuff.
The band is working on their second cd and hopes
to get a track or two out for us. Find out more
about them online at the link below. If you like
the stuff we play, you will not be disappointed.
We plan on doing a listening party for the new
cd when we get our hands on it.

-October 27th was another fine show. We had a
great hour of Kiss music, covering all the
singers and different eras of that band's
stellar career. The phones were ringing off the
hook most of the night. Overall, a lot of fun, as
usual. We are on a serious roll and things are
only looking up. Will and Frankie played a lot
of good songs, including some related to
Halloween (which falls on Wednesday).

-October 20th was a great episode of Monkey
Business, there was a lot of stuff going on and
a respectable amount of callers and visitors.
At the last minute, we secured an interview with
a band called Five O' Clock Shadow, who was
playing in the area. The interview went well and
we shall be adding Five O' Clock Shadow to our
playlists during the week. Check out their
website linked below. Also, we played an hour
of great music in support of America, check out
the playlists linked below to see those songs.
We also got some new cd shelves and a new cd
player in the studio, which is always a plus.

-October 13th was the best episode in a long time
for Monkey Business. The phones were ringing off
the hook and the requests were coming like
wildfire. We had a first time listener from Saco
call in for some early, early Def Leppard and
Quiet Riot, it was an incredible night. The Guns
N' Roses All Request Hour was a big success and
went off superbly. Will and Frankie are thrilled
about how the night went, we can't wait til next
week. We gained a lot of first time listeners in
fact and hope they stick around for future weeks.

-We had a GREAT episode on October 6th playing
an hour of great music by Europe including some
early stuff. We also played a lot of other great
music and even went on a few minutes early. We
had some good feedback from the listeners and
played a good mix of stuff, including some newer
acts from independent labels. After a one week
hiatus, Frankie is back in the studio which is
always good. Plus, there was some bugs in the
equipment in the studio and Will managed to fix
the dials on the board and also the mic that was
not working.

-Every week, as you know, we do an artist of the
week feature and pick an artist and play one
hour of their music from 9 to 10 PM on Monkey
Business.
